Role Description The South Indian Chef at Athyeka Heritage is responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking a variety of authentic South Indian dishes, including breakfast items, main courses, snacks, and desserts. Day-to-day tasks include managing food preparation, ensuring proper seasoning and presentation, maintaining kitchen hygiene and safety standards, and monitoring inventory of ingredients and supplies. The role involves collaborating with the culinary team to design and update menus,



training junior staff on South Indian techniques, and maintaining consistency in taste and quality. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Noida, requiring flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, according to restaurant operations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a South Indian Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen, with strong knowledge of regional cuisines such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Kerala dishes.
Demonstrated expertise in traditional South Indian cooking techniques, including dosa and idli batter preparation, use of spices, tempering, and tandoor or live station operations where applicable.
Ability to maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness, following local regulations and internal kitchen procedures.
Skills in kitchen organization, time management, and multitasking to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality and consistency
