Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Chinese Chef role located in Bhilai. The Chinese Chef will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of Chinese dishes, ensuring consistent taste, presentation, and portion control. The role includes planning menus, managing mise en place, monitoring stock levels of ingredients, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety. The chef will coordinate with kitchen staff, support timely service during peak hours, and ensure smooth operation of the Chinese section. The role also involves tasting and refining recipes,



adhering to hotel standards, and contributing to special events or buffet offerings as needed.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge of Chinese cuisine, including stir-fries, soups, dim sum, and sauces, with proven experience in a professional kitchen.
Ability to manage kitchen operations for the Chinese section, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and portion control.
Demonstrated commitment to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with local health regulations.
Skill in menu planning, ingredient selection, and maintaining inventory to minimize waste and control food costs.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with chefs, stewards, and service staff during busy service periods.
Capability to work on-site in Bhilai in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility for shift work, weekends, and holidays.
