Job Summary
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving new business acquisition and revenue growth within the assigned territory. This role requires a strong focus on direct B2B sales, customer engagement, and market development, along with the ability to build long-term relationships and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
1. New Business Acquisition
Identify and target potential B2B customers within the assigned geography
Generate and qualify leads through market mapping, networking, and industry engagement
Drive end-to-end sales cycle including prospecting, client meetings, solution presentations, and deal closure
Consistently achieve and exceed defined sales targets
2. Customer Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Plant Managers, Procurement Heads, and Business Owners
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution
Strengthen client relationships to drive repeat business and long-term partnerships
3. Account Growth & Retention
Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling across existing accounts
Drive account expansion by understanding customer needs and aligning solutions accordingly
Monitor customer health and take proactive actions to ensure retention
4. Market Intelligence & Business Insights
Stay informed on industry trends, customer expectations, and competitor activities
Gather and share market insights to support product, pricing, and service improvements
Contribute to identifying recent market opportunities and business segments
5. Sales Planning & Reporting
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts in CRM systems
Track performance against targets and provide regular updates to stakeholders
Ensure discipline in sales processes and reporting standards
