Cafe Deja Vu combines automation with hospitality to deliver consistent quality, speed, and innovation in food service.
Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing daily cafe operations and ensuring a high-quality guest experience. This role includes managing staff schedules, supervising front-of-house and back-of-house teams, and maintaining service standards. The General Manager will monitor inventory, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure that automated systems like “GIZMO” operate smoothly. They will handle customer feedback, manage budgets, track sales performance, and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.



The role also involves training team members, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting marketing and promotional activities.
Qualifications

Experience in restaurant, cafe, or hospitality management, with strong operational oversight and team leadership skills.
Proficiency in staff scheduling, performance management, and training to build an engaged and customer-focused team.
Skills in inventory management, vendor coordination, and basic financial tracking (budgets, sales reports, cost control).
Comfort with technology and automated systems, including POS platforms and digital ordering tools.
Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage guest concerns professionally.
Knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance in a food service workplace.
