JOB DESCRIPTION – CNC LINE SUPERVISOR

Location: Alandi Phata Plant, Pune | Experience: 2–5 Years
Department: Production | Industry: Automobile / Auto Components

Job Purpose

To supervise CNC line operations and ensure achievement of production, quality, safety, productivity, and delivery targets.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise daily CNC production and achieve planned production targets.
Allocate manpower and monitor operator performance and attendance.
Monitor machine utilization, cycle time, downtime, rejection, rework, and scrap.
Ensure proper machine setting, tool change, job changeover, and first-piece approval.
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, PPC, and Tool Room for smooth production.
Ensure adherence to work instructions, process parameters, control plans, and safety procedures.
Identify machine/process problems and coordinate for timely corrective action.
Maintain production, downtime, rejection, and shift handover reports.
Ensure 5S, PPE, housekeeping, discipline, and safety on the shop floor.




Guide and train CNC operators for protected and efficient operation.
Support Kaizen, productivity improvement, cycle-time reduction, and cost-reduction activities.
Qualification & Skills
ITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / relevant technical field.
2–5 years of experience in CNC production/supervision, preferably in the automobile/auto-component industry.
Knowledge of CNC VMC/HMC, tools, fixtures, measuring instruments, and machining parameters.
Ability to read engineering drawings and basic GD&T.;
Good manpower handling, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Quality, and Safety.
Willing to work in rotational shifts.
