Business Development Manager (Premix) - India Market
Location: Mumbai

Job Summary
This position will be responsible for developing and maintaining positive customer relationships with customers and manage the distributors in India by consistently providing excellent customer care and top quality products at the best profit margins. Provide strategy for growth, and active management of the distributors in the assigned country.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

Develop, manage and monitor the sales of Glanbia ingredients business (premixes, and additional ingredients) within the food, nutrition and pharma industry in India.
Meet and exceed sales and profitability targets and employ adequate resources, while meeting expense budgets (OPEX).
Travel to customers for face-to-face meetings to promote new products, enhance customer relationship, resolve any product questions and ensure Glanbia is selling all the material and services we can offer.
Responsible for maintaining and growing current business with existing accounts, developing new customers in India Market.




Establish and regularly update project pipeline.
Engage the support of Technical Team in India, Singapore and Shanghai for current developments and technical issues.
Support customers with technical documentation, marketing and sales tools and up to date information on trends in the food and supplement industry.
Support the management of Global Key Customers based in India on various levels of the respective organization.
Ensure no business is lost due to competitive pricing, availability of products, lead-times or any other problem Glanbia can counter
Provide the leadership necessary to support the distributors, and personally handle distributors training and direct their activities toward the achievement of all sales programs and goals.
Develop new accounts via leads from magazines, internet, cold call customers, trade shows, industry events and word of mouth.
