Experienced counselors guide students from their first inquiry through their arrival on campus, helping ensure a smooth transition to their new academic environment. Role Description The Study Abroad Counselor/Telecaller is a part time/full time, hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with some flexibility for work from home.

In this position, the counselor will handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to queries via phone, email,



and messaging, and provide clear information about study abroad options, universities, programs, and application processes. (only for study abroad counselor)

Daily responsibilities include counseling students and families on suitable courses and destinations, guiding them through documentation, applications, and visa procedures, and coordinating with university representatives when needed. (only for study abroad counselor)

The role involves maintaining accurate student records in CRM or related systems, following up with prospective applicants, and supporting them at each stage from initial consultation to pre-departure.

The counselor will also participate in outreach activities, webinars, and information sessions to increase awareness of GlocalEd’s services and build long-term relationships with students.
