Role Description The Accountant role at Dmart is a full-time, in office position based in Tirupati. The role involves managing daily accounting operations, including recording transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling accounts. The Accountant will prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. Day-to-day tasks also include handling vendor payments, monitoring cash flow, assisting with audits,



and providing accurate financial reports to support business decision-making.
Qualifications

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as MS Excel and ERP or retail management systems.
Ability to perform account reconciliations, manage payables and receivables, and handle cash flow tracking.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with store and finance teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, CMA) are an advantage.
Experience in retail or supermarket accounting is preferred, with familiarity in inventory and cost control processes.
