Role Description The Freelance Compositor will work on a contract basis, integrating computer-generated elements, live-action footage, and visual effects to create polished final shots for film, television, and advertising projects. This hybrid role is based in Mumbai, with a combination of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility, depending on project needs. Day-to-day tasks include combining multiple render passes and plates,



refining lighting and color, ensuring seamless transitions between CG and live action, and troubleshooting technical issues in the composite. The compositor will collaborate closely with supervisors, CG and animation teams, and production staff to maintain visual continuity, adhere to style guidelines, and deliver shots on schedule. Responsibilities also include reviewing feedback, iterating on shots, and maintaining organized project files and version control.
Qualifications
Strong compositing skills with proficiency in tools and workflows related to Compositing and Computer Graphics.
Ability to work with Lighting setups and integrate CG lighting with Live Action footage for cohesive final images.
Experience collaborating with Animation teams and integrating animated elements into complex shots.
Understanding of live-action production processes, including plate management, camera tracking, and on
