Job Purpose
As part of the legal team of MHRIL, handling and executing high-value strategic contracts and other commercial documentation, legal opinion related work, real estate transactions including acquisitions, leases, etc. and major litigations.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Handling various kinds of high-value strategic contracts and other commercial documentation.
Legal opinion related work on a wide range of cutting-edge legal issues, especially emerging areas of law.
Being involved in commercial and real estate transactions.
Being involved in major litigations.
Qualifications & Experience:
LLB / LLM from a recognized institution.
5-10 years' experience in law firms and/or in-house legal teams. Law firm experience would be a plus, but not mandatory.
Skills & Competencies required:
Prior experience must include complex commercial documentation like M&A;, high-value contracts, strategic transactions, general corporate advisory, etc.
The candidate should be capable of taking ownership of legal matters, handling the same fairly independently and delivering high quality legal support to business teams.
High level of customer centricity and solution-oriented approach required.
