The Cashier is responsible for handling customer billing transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a smooth checkout experience while maintaining cash and system accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions
Generate bills and invoices accurately using POS systems
Maintain cash register and ensure daily cash reconciliation
Assist customers with billing-related queries and returns/exchanges
Follow company policies for discounts, offers, and refunds
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing counter
Support store operations during peak hours
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum qualification: 10+2 / Graduate preferred
Prior experience as a cashier (retail/electronics preferred)
Basic computer knowledge and POS handling
Valuable numerical accuracy and attention to detail
Polite communication and customer-handling skills
