Role Description The Sales Manager Prime LAP Direct role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The role involves driving sales of Prime Loan Against Property (LAP) products through direct channels, including sourcing new customers, managing leads, and converting opportunities into successful closures. The Sales Manager will conduct customer meetings, assess financial needs, explain product features and terms, and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.



Daily responsibilities include maintaining a robust sales pipeline, coordinating with credit and operations teams for smooth processing, and tracking performance against targets. The role also requires cultivating long-term customer relationships, monitoring market trends and competition, and preparing regular sales reports for management.
Qualifications
Strong sales and business development skills, with experience in retail lending or Loan Against Property preferred.
Proficiency in customer relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals.
Solid understanding of financial products, credit assessment basics, and regulatory compliance in the lending sector.
Ability to work with targets, analyze sales data, and prepare clear performance reports.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with diverse customer segments.
