Responsible for all activities associated with aiding and assisting in machine operations.
Duties And Responsibilities
Follow all Columbia Container safety rules and policies.
Maintain a safe, organized area at all times.
Follow and understand all directions given be the machine operator for the assigned work assignment.
Stay busy. If the assigned task is completed, seek further instruction.
Follow and understand job specification sheet information.
Accurately measure material as needed with a tape measure per job specifications.
Safely stack material as marked on the job specification sheet.
Properly tag all material. Tags must be legible.
Follow the production machine schedule at all times unless otherwise directed.
Communicate with management as far as any stock quality or machine schedule issues.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.

Never interfere with production unless there is a safety or quality concern.
If you are caught up in your work activities above, see management immediately for direction.
Mathematical Skills
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or graphic form. Ability to deal with problems involving one or more concrete variables in standardized situations.
Technical Skills
The individual must have working knowledge of the following:
Equipment design and capabilities that can be translated into productive operation.
Product layouts and production specifications
Product quality specifications
Quality standards
