Position: Lead Member – Proposal Engineering (PW812FT RM 4310)

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Production, Automation, or related engineering discipline.

Experience

8 to 12 years of experience in Proposal Engineering, Machine Design
Experience in system design, machine architecture, and component selection, with the ability to develop technical solutions and prepare proposals based on machine concepts
Experience in Consumer Electronics Manufacturing Automation, Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), Assembly Automation, Testing Automation, Material Handling Systems, and Robotics.
Exposure to smart phone, electronics, audio products, PCBA assembly, and consumer electronics manufacturing processes preferred.

Purpose of the Role

Develop competitive techno-commercial proposals for consumer electronics automation projects by analyzing customer requirements, conceptualizing automation solutions, preparing cost estimates, and supporting technical discussions to secure business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Study RFQs, customer specifications,



and technical requirements.
Develop automation concepts and solutions for consumer electronics manufacturing applications.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and project budgets.
Perform feasibility studies, cycle time analysis, and capacity calculations.
Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Controls, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales teams.
Support customers during technical discussions and proposal reviews.
Obtain quotations from vendors and suppliers for costing purposes.
Drive value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
Ensure timely submission of accurate and competitive proposals.
