1. General Requirements The Resident Engineer shall be a full-time Civil Engineering skilled stationed at the project site throughout the construction period and shall be responsible for supervision, quality assurance, coordination, technical review, progress monitoring, safety compliance, and liaison with the Client, Consultants, Contractors, and statutory authorities.
2. Minimum Qualification and Experience
Position: Resident Engineer
Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Civil Engineering from a recognized University approved by AICTE/UGC.
Minimum Experience: Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience in construction supervision, structural works, and project execution.
Relevant Experience: Minimum 5 years in high-rise commercial, residential, industrial, IT parks, hospitals, projects.
Similar Projects: Successfully handled at least three projects exceeding 50,000 m² built-up area or equivalent project value.
Professional Registration: Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or equivalent is desirable. Software Knowledge: MS Office, AutoCAD review preferred.
Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Hindi desirable.
3. Roles and Responsibilities.
? Supervise all civil and structural works.
? Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, IS Codes and contract documents.
? Review reinforcement,



formwork, embedded items and concrete works before casting.
? Review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements and inspection requests.
? Coordinate with Client, Architect, Structural and MEP Consultants.
? Monitor quality, progress and safety.
? Review contractor measurements and certify progress.
? Maintain RFIs, NCRs, site records and technical correspondence.
4. Mandatory Competencies
? RCC and structural steel construction.
? Pile foundations, retaining structures and basements.
? Concrete technology and waterproofing.
? QA/QC procedures and inspection.
? Construction planning and sequencing.
? Technical reporting and contract documentation.
5. Preferred Experience
? High-rise buildings (G+15 or above).
? Post-tensioned slabs.
? Commercial, Industrial and Hospital projects.
? Deep basement construction.
