What awaits you/ Job Profile
You will join the Engineering Intelligence team at BMWTechWorks India to drive the integration of FASTER vehicle dynamics simulation into our SPIDER simulation framework. In this role you are responsible for validating integrations across multiple FASTER versions, vehicle electrical system releases, and diverse model parameterizations, while developing automated test suites and ensuring a seamless, user-friendly workflow for simulator users. You will collaborate with simulation engineers, E/E architects and global stakeholders to improve simulation fidelity and automation — a role that offers strong technical ownership, visible impact on vehicle dynamics workflows, and opportunities to influence cross-domain tooling within BMWTechWorks.
What should you bring along
- Strong interest in vehicle dynamics, simulation toolchains, and E/E architecture.
- Proven collaboration skills across simulation, controls,
and electrical engineering teams.
- Experience defining and executing validation strategies and automated testing for simulation models.
- A pragmatic, user-centered mindset to deliver reliable, easy-to-use tools for engineering teams.
- Effective English communication skills for working with global teams.

Must have technical skill
- Proficiency in C++ for simulation integration and tool development.
- Practical knowledge of driving dynamics and vehicle parameterization concepts.
- Experience with automated test development for simulation/model validation.
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems, Boardnet concepts, and E/E architecture.
- Understanding of versioning and release management for simulation models and vehicle software.

Positive to have Technical skills
- Direct exposure to the FASTER model suite and/or the SPIDER framework.
- Experience with driving simulators and real-time simulation constraints.
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices for simulation (CI/CD, unit/integration testing).
- Skills in MATLAB/Simulink scripting or Python for test automation and data analysis.
- Experience with model validation techniques, statistical analysis and reporting tools.
