Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end motion stabilization systems for mission-critical applications. Own controller architecture, hardware validation, and real-world stabilization performance while collaborating closely with engineering and founders.
Key Responsibilities at this Role
Design complete stabilisation loops from sensor to actuator on production hardware.
Own cascaded control architecture across torque, velocity, and position loops.
Tune controllers to achieve target bandwidth and mrad-level stabilisation accuracy.
Validate stabilisation performance using vibration benches and real hardware testing.
Implement BLDC/PMSM field-oriented control for precision motion systems.
Integrate resolver, encoder, RDC, and inertial sensing feedback chains.
Optimize disturbance rejection using feedforward and cascaded PID control.

3-9 years of hands-on motion control or stabilisation engineering experience
Experience closing hardware stabilisation loops with measurable bandwidth (Hz) and residual jitter (mrad)
Robust expertise in FOC for BLDC/PMSM motors
Hands-on experience with resolver/encoder feedback and RDC (AD2S1210 or equivalent)
Experience implementing gyro-based inertial stabilisation using Complementary or Kalman Filters
Expertise in cascaded PID control with feedforward tuning on real hardware under vibration/disturbance
