Role Description As a Data Science Mentor at FACE Prep, you will guide learners through core data science concepts, tools, and industry practices in a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. You will deliver classroom sessions, lead hands-on labs, and support project-based learning that covers topics such as statistics, machine learning,



programming, and data visualization. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and updating learning materials, explaining complex concepts in an accessible manner, reviewing assignments, and providing constructive feedback. You will mentor students on interview preparation and career pathways, help them build robust portfolios, and track their learning progress. Collaboration with other mentors and curriculum teams to refine course content and incorporate industry trends will be a key part of the role.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in data science concepts including statistics, machine learning, data analysis, and data visualization.
Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python or R, and familiarity with relevant libraries and frameworks.
