Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CA Fresher (Indirect Taxation – IDT) role based in Mumbai. The role involves assisting in GST, Customs, and other indirect tax compliance, including preparation and review of returns, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.



The CA Fresher will support audit and assurance engagements in indirect tax, help in responding to client queries, and assist in drafting opinions and reports under guidance of seniors. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting research on indirect tax issues, analyzing notifications and circulars, maintaining organized working papers, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure timely completion of assignments. The role also offers exposure to consultancy, advisory, and representation-related work in the indirect tax domain as the candidate gains experience.
Qualifications
Qualified Chartered Accountant with a focus or interest in Indirect Taxation (GST, Customs, FTP, Service Tax, Central Excise).
Solid knowledge of accounting, auditing basics, and tax laws, with the ability to interpret statutes, rules, and notifications.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and tax/accounting software; comfort with working on digital
