We are looking for an experienced Purchase & Sourcing Manager to manage end-to-end procurement and vendor relationships for our growing D2C brand dealing in natural gemstones, crystals, Rudraksha, malas and spiritual products.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and procure gemstones, crystals, Rudraksha, malas and spiritual products.
* Build and manage a strong vendor/supplier network across India.
* Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms and delivery timelines.
* Evaluate gemstones for quality, authenticity, treatment, origin and certification.
* Manage vendor performance, quality control and alternate sourcing.
* Plan procurement based on sales demand, inventory levels and SKU movement.
* Track purchase orders, landed costs and inventory availability.
* Identify opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement.
* Research and source new products, suppliers and emerging categories.
* Coordinate with Operations,
Sales and Marketing for product requirements.
Must Have
* 4+ years of experience in procurement/sourcing, preferably in gemstones, jewellery, crystals, Rudraksha or spiritual products.
* Solid existing vendor network in gemstone/crystal/Rudraksha markets.
* Good understanding of gemstone quality and authenticity.
* Strong negotiation, vendor management and procurement skills.
* Knowledge of gemstone markets and pricing(pan india)
* Ability to independently identify and onboard new suppliers.
