Creative Director — Scatter

Scatter is looking for a Creative Director to lead the creative thinking and output across our client work.
This isn’t a role built solely around advertising campaigns. Our work ranges from social and digital content to video, performance creatives, reports, websites, thought leadership and increasingly AI-assisted creative production. We work with some of India’s and the world’s largest brands, often across very different audiences and business problems.

We’re looking for someone who can turn strategy into robust creative work and has the creative judgement to know what works, what doesn’t, and what needs improvement.

The role will lead creative across copy, design and video. You don't need to be a filmmaker, but you do need to understand storytelling, scripts, treatments, direction, editing and the craft that makes video work. You should be as comfortable reviewing a film or short-form video as you are reviewing a campaign idea,



a social creative or a website.

What you’ll do
Lead creative thinking and design across key accounts and projects.
Translate strategy into strong creative territories, concepts and visual systems.
Raise the quality and consistency of work across the agency.
Review work, give clear creative direction and help teams make good work better.
Partner closely with strategy, copy, client servicing and production rather than operate as a separate creative island.
Lead and mentor the design/creative team while remaining hands-on when needed.
Present and defend creative thinking to senior clients.
Help build better creative processes, including how we use AI in ideation, visualisation and production.
Understand that different formats require different kinds of creativity. Our range of work includes (but is not restricted to) a 300-pixel banner, social posts, a film, a website, and a 60-page report, and cannot all be a
