About the Role
Smartedge Consulting is looking for an IMS–QEHS Consultant to support clients in establishing, implementing, auditing and improving Integrated Management Systems covering Quality, Environment and Occupational Health & Safety.
The role is ideal for a professional who can go beyond documentation and certification and help clients build practical systems that work and create measurable business value.
Key Standards
Essential:
ISO 9001 – Quality Management
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management
ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety
Additional knowledge will be an advantage:
ISO 50001, ISO 27001, ISO 22000/HACCP, IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 17025, ISO 10002, ESG & Sustainability requirements and applicable legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consulting & Implementation
Understand client business processes and requirements.
Conduct ISO/IMS Gap Assessments.
Develop practical implementation plans.
Develop/review IMS manuals, policies, procedures, SOPs and formats.
Support implementation of Quality, Environmental and OH&S; processes.
Develop Risk & Prospect Registers,
HIRA, Aspect & Impact Registers and Legal Compliance Registers.
Establish objectives, KPIs and monitoring mechanisms.
Ensure documentation reflects actual client operations.
2. Training & Awareness
Conduct/facilitate training on:
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 awareness
IMS implementation
Risk & Opportunity Management
HIRA / Risk Assessment
Environmental Aspect & Impact Assessment
Legal Compliance
Internal Auditor Training
CAPA & Root Cause Analysis
Emergency Preparedness
Continual Improvement
3. Internal Audit & Certification Support
Prepare audit plans and checklists.
Conduct internal audits and identify gaps/nonconformities.
Prepare professional audit reports.
Support Root Cause Analysis and CAPA closure.
Verify corrective-action effectiveness.
Prepare clients for Stage 1 and Stage 2 certification audits.
Support clients during certification audits and closure of findings.
