Role Description The Automation Lead Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation solutions across manufacturing and machining operations to improve productivity, consistency, and safety. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing existing production processes,



identifying opportunities for automation, developing and validating control logic, and coordinating with cross-functional engineering and production teams to deploy automated systems. The role involves overseeing installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of automation equipment and software, while ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The Automation Lead Engineer will also mentor junior engineers and technicians, maintain documentation of automation projects, and collaborate with management on technology upgrades and long-term automation strategies.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in industrial automation, including PLC programming, HMI/SCADA configuration, and integration of sensors, actuators, and drives.
