Role Purpose
The Pre-School Coordinator will be responsible for the academic, operational, and developmental functioning of the Pre-School section, ensuring a safe, nurturing, engaging, and high-quality learning setting for young children. The role involves supporting teachers, coordinating with parents, monitoring curriculum implementation, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Academic & Curriculum Leadership
Plan and coordinate the implementation of the Pre-School curriculum.
Ensure age-appropriate, play-based and experiential learning practices.
Monitor lesson planning, classroom transactions, activities, and assessments.
Ensure learning experiences support children's cognitive, social, emotional, physical, and language development.




Encourage innovative teaching practices and the effective use of learning resources.
Maintain consistency in academic practices across all Pre-School classes.
2. Teacher Support & Development
Guide and mentor Pre-School teachers and facilitators.
Conduct regular classroom observations and provide constructive feedback.
Support teachers in lesson planning, classroom management, and documentation.
Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programmes.
Foster teamwork, collaboration, and a positive professional culture.
3. Child Development & Well-being
Monitor the overall development and well-being of children.
Ensure classrooms provide a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.
Support teachers in addressing individual learning and behavioural needs.
Ensure appropriate developmental records and observations are maintained.
