Role Description The Telesales Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. In this position, the specialist will make outbound and handle inbound calls to promote and explain financial products such as home loans, life insurance, and general insurance, and convert leads into successful sales. Daily responsibilities include understanding customer needs, providing accurate product information, addressing queries, and maintaining high standards of customer service.



The role also involves recording interactions in the system, following up on prospects, meeting sales targets, and coordinating with internal teams for smooth onboarding of customers. The Telesales Specialist may participate in regular training and briefings to stay updated on product features, regulatory guidelines, and sales techniques.
Qualifications

Strong customer-facing skills including Customer Service and Customer Support.
Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written, with clear and professional phone etiquette.
Proven Sales abilities, including negotiation, lead conversion, and target achievement.
Capability to participate in and benefit from Training, and to apply new product and process knowledge effectively.
Basic understanding of financial products such as loans and insurance is preferred.
