Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for driving growth and expanding VA’s client base and project portfolio. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in architecture, urban design, and interiors, managing client relationships,



and collaborating with internal design teams to align proposals with client needs. Day-to-day tasks include market research, lead generation, preparation of pitches and proposals, coordination of presentations and client meetings, and participation in industry events and networking activities. The Business Development Manager will also support brand positioning, assist with marketing collateral, and maintain a structured pipeline and reporting process to track opportunities and conversion rates.
Qualifications
Demonstrated skills in business development, client relationship management, and strategic account growth.
Experience with market research, lead generation, and opportunity analysis in professional services or design-led industries.
Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey design value to diverse stakeholders.
