Role Description The Factory Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day manufacturing operations in an on-site facility located in Navi Mumbai. This full time role includes planning and organizing production schedules, managing shop-floor staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and monitoring output to meet deadlines and cost targets. The Factory Manager coordinates material requirements, optimizes workflow, and implements safety and compliance protocols. The role also involves maintaining machinery and equipment readiness, resolving operational issues, collaborating with senior management on process improvements, and reporting key performance metrics.
Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Production Planning and Production Management, with the ability to manage end-to-end factory output.
Strong background in Quality Control to ensure products meet company and client specifications.
Hands-on experience in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations, including workflow optimization and resource utilization.
Proven leadership skills with experience supervising factory teams and promoting a safe, inclusive work environment.
Ability to analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordination with internal stakeholders and vendors.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Textile/Apparel Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
Prior experience managing garment or uniform manufacturing facilities in an on-site setting is an advantage.
