What is the role?

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will lead and contribute to the backend architecture, scalability, and performance of both Book An Artist and Wescover platforms.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining backend systems that power our marketplaces, APIs, integrations,



and internal tools. This role requires robust ownership, technical leadership, and hands-on engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

Backend Leadership & Ownership

* Lead backend development initiatives across Book An Artist and Wescover platforms.
* Own backend architecture decisions, technical improvements, and scalability planning.
* Mentor and collaborate with developers while maintaining engineering best practices.
* Work closely with product, frontend, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Product & Feature Development

* Design, build, and deploy new backend modules, APIs, and platform features end-to-end.
* Develop scalable REST APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
* Build systems that support marketplace workflows, mobile applications, and integrations.
* Collaborate in Agile/SCRUM development cycles.
