Company Description PlasmaGen BioSciences Private Limited, founded in 2010 in Bengaluru, is India’s first company dedicated to plasma protein therapeutics. The organization was established to reduce blood and plasma wastage, create awareness among blood banks, and improve access to plasma-derived medicinal products across the country. PlasmaGen is focused on bridging the demand–supply gap for plasma protein products and enhancing the health and quality of life for patients, including those with rare and genetic diseases such as Hemophilia, Thalassemia, Sickle-cell anemia, and primary immunodeficiencies. With a manufacturing plant nearing completion in Kolar (Bengaluru), PlasmaGen is working toward self-sufficiency for India in plasma-derived medicines while driving nationwide awareness initiatives in collaboration with medical experts.
Role Description The Area Business Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for driving business growth and market development for PlasmaGen’s portfolio in the assigned territory.



The role involves developing and executing territory sales plans, engaging with healthcare professionals, hospitals, and blood banks, and building strong relationships to increase awareness and adoption of plasma-derived products. The Area Business Manager will monitor sales performance, manage key accounts, ensure timely order processing and collections, and provide regular reporting and market insights to the leadership team. Day-to-day activities include conducting field visits, organizing scientific meetings and awareness programs, coordinating with internal cross-functional teams, and adhering to all regulatory, compliance, and ethical standards in the promotion of therapies. The person in this role will also identify new business opportunities, support product launches, and contribute to strategic initiatives focused on rare and genetic disease segments.
