Role Description The Business Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying current business opportunities, generating leads, and building a robust sales pipeline for xLayer Technologies’ software and AI/ML solutions. The specialist conducts market research, analyzes industry trends, and maps potential clients in target sectors such as networking, telecom, defense,



and e-Governance. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with prospective and existing clients, presenting solution offerings, coordinating product demos with technical teams, and supporting the negotiation of proposals and contracts. The role also involves maintaining accurate records in CRM tools, collaborating with marketing to refine messaging, and providing feedback to product teams based on customer needs.
Qualifications
