Role Overview
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, correctness, and performance of the Classcard platform across web, mobile, and API layers. Your core responsibility is to prevent regressions, validate critical business workflows, and embed quality into the product development lifecycle as the platform scales. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys breaking systems thoughtfully, improving processes, and acting as the quality gatekeeper for releases.

What You'll Do
Manual Testing & Core Workflows (Core)




Design and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and scenarios for web, mobile, and backend APIs
Perform hands-on manual testing of key workflows, including:
Onboarding
Scheduling
Attendance
Invoicing
Payments
Reporting
Validate API behaviour, covering request/response contracts, edge cases, error handling, and data integrity
Identify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps, expected vs actual behaviour, and severity

Release Validation & Regression
Review new features and bug fixes before release to prevent regressions
Execute regression testing for every release cycle across tenants and configurations
Verify fixes in staging and production environments
Provide QA sign-off on release readiness

Collaboration & Process
Work closely with developers and product managers to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage aligns with acceptance criteria
