What You Will Do *
Conducts flammability tests for Aircraft seat/cabin components
Administers Flammability, Oil & Vertical Burn Testing, Special Conditions, Heat Release,
Smoke Density and Toxicity certification requirements of 14CFR25.853(a), (c) & (d)
Select engineering techniques to solve problems and make design recommendations
Reviews and approves design changes from certification perspective for weight/material sensitive and optimized design solutions
Creates and compiles FAA certification documentation for submittal to OEMs, Airline customers and Regulatory agencies
Material selection and material specifications correlation
Authors, peer checks and directs preparation of appropriate documentation for assigned projects
Ensures successful completion of the assigned project phase within the budgeted time and cost constraints
Good verbal and written communication
Qualifications You Must Have *
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or other STEM discipline minimum of 1~3 years of relevant experience in Flammability (or) an
