Role Description The Mechanical Design Intern will support the design and development of smart bottles and future smart devices, working closely with engineering and product teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and updating CAD models and drawings, assisting with mechanical design iterations, and participating in design reviews. The intern will help with prototype assembly, basic inspection and testing, and documenting design changes and maintenance requirements.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Udupi, where on-site work for prototyping and collaboration is combined with some work-from-home flexibility for design and documentation tasks.
Qualifications
Mechanical Engineering knowledge, with understanding of core concepts such as materials, mechanics, and product development.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and technical drawings.
Ability to perform basic Inspection and quality checks on prototypes and mechanical components.
Fundamental skills in Maintenance planning and documentation for mechanical systems or products.
Interest or exposure to Automotive or related mechanical systems is an advantage.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
