Job Title: Medical Representative / Business Development Executive (Angola Operations)
Location: Luanda or designated provinces, Angola (Field-based)
Reports To: Country Manager / Export Sales Manager
Industry: Pharmaceutical Exports (Indian MNC / Export House)

Job Purpose: To develop and expand the company’s pharmaceutical business in assigned Angolan territories. The candidate will drive brand awareness, manage distribution channels, and secure order-based sales by promoting Indian generic and specialized pharmaceutical formulations to healthcare professionals, local pharmacies, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Medical Detailing & Brand Promotion: Schedule and conduct regular product presentations to Angolan doctors, physicians, hospital staff, and key opinion leaders to drive product prescriptions.

Market & Channel Development: Visit and build active commercial relationships with local retail pharmacies, sub-distributors, private clinics, and healthcare dealers.

Sales & Target Achievement:



Take responsibility for achieving monthly and quarterly sales volume targets within the assigned territory through proactive order generation.

Stockist & Supply Management: Coordinate with local stockists and distributors to ensure consistent stock availability of the company's medicine brands, preventing supply chain gaps.

Regulatory & Compliance Support: Assist the Indian export headquarters with documentation required by Angola’s health regulatory framework (ARMED) and coordinate local product feedback.

Field Staff Collaboration: Oversee and train local junior field assistants or promotional staff where applicable to enhance territory market coverage.

Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and recent drug introductions, providing regular market intelligence reports to management.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Education: B.Pharm, D.Pharm, BSc (Life Sciences/Biotech), or a relevant scientific graduate degree. A
