We are looking for an experienced Water Chemist with strong hands-on knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Perform water/wastewater analysis including pH, TDS, TSS, turbidity, conductivity, alkalinity, hardness, chloride, sulphate, silica, iron, COD, BOD, DO, residual chlorine, oil & grease, phosphate, ammonia, etc.
• Monitor water quality across WTP, ETP, STP, RO, UF, MBR and ZLD systems.
• Optimize chemical dosing and support troubleshooting of scaling, fouling, high COD/TDS, poor settling and other process issues.
• Establish and independently manage a site water/wastewater laboratory.
• Prepare laboratory equipment, glassware, chemicals, reagents and consumables requirements.
• Handle/coordinate procurement of laboratory chemicals, reagents, standard solutions and testing consumables.
• Prepare and standardize reagents and calibration solutions.




• Maintain laboratory records, calibration logs, chemical inventory, test reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with plant operators and process engineers for corrective actions based on analytical results.
• Ensure compliance with applicable APHA/BIS/CPCB and project-specific water quality requirements.

Qualification & Experience
• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Chemistry, Environmental Science or relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater treatment.
• Hands-on experience with industrial ETP/STP/WTP/RO/UF/MBR/ZLD plants preferred.
• Must be capable of independently setting up and operating a project-site laboratory.
• Valuable understanding of water chemistry, chemical dosing, membrane pretreatment and laboratory procedures.
