Role Description The Sitting Phlebotomist will perform on-site blood collection and sample processing at Orange Health Labs’ facility in Gurugram in a full-time capacity. This role involves welcoming customers, confirming test orders, verifying identity, and preparing collection materials in accordance with safety and infection-control protocols. The Sitting Phlebotomist will draw blood and collect other specimens, label and document samples accurately, and ensure proper storage and handover for timely testing. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized workstation, monitoring inventory of phlebotomy supplies, and adhering to quality, safety, and compliance standards. The role also requires transparent communication with customers to explain procedures, address questions, and provide a calm, professional experience throughout the collection process.
Qualifications
Formal training or certification in phlebotomy or laboratory technology, with hands-on experience in blood collection and specimen handling.
