Founding Growth & Product Associate
BD x Design x Product Development. One person who can sell, design, and make.
Location: Maduravoyal, Chennai (in office) | Type: Full-time | Compensation: Rs 50,000 to 60,000 per month
The Role
You will be the one-person engine that finds and wins new brand clients for Connoisseur, turns their inquiries into tailored concepts within days, and develops original, sustainable products and fabric stories that power our marketing. You will lean heavily on AI tools (Claude, Gemini Ect) to do the work of a whole team. This is a founding role with a direct line to landing our next anchor clients and shaping how the brand is seen.
What You Will Own
Run the outbound demand engine end to end. Build target lists of sustainability-committed global brands from public data (Textile Exchange, B Corp, Fair Trade directories, brands de-risking from China and Bangladesh), then use Claude Cowork and Code to automate research, personalisation, multi-channel outreach by email and LinkedIn, follow-ups, and pipeline tracking,



at a scale one person could never reach manually.
Convert live prospects fast. When a brand engages, respond within days with mood boards, sketches or CAD using CLO, adobe, draft tech packs, and sample direction that turn an inquiry into a development conversation. A tailored first concept, delivered fast, is our edge.
Drive product and material innovation. Source and curate fabrics and trims, experiment with garment processing (washes, finishes, dyes, sustainable constructions), and develop original concept pieces for both client pitches and our own marketing.
Build the showcase. Produce the sample garments, fabric stories, and visuals that fuel our campaigns and our verified-origin and transparency narrative.
Keep the pipeline honest. Maintain the CRM, report funnel metrics weekly (touches, replies, samples, conversions), and work closely with the production team and senior partner to close anchor accoun
