Position description: Join Jindal Ferrous Limited as a key technical leader within the Blast Furnace - E&A; department, where you will oversee the engineering and automation aspects critical to the efficient operation of blast furnace processes. Primary Responsibilities:
Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and automation systems specific to blast furnace operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with process engineers and production teams to optimize control systems and instrumentation for improved blast furnace performance.
Manage troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical and automation failures, providing timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
Oversee the integration of new technologies and automation upgrades to enhance process control and data acquisition capabilities.
Ensure adherence to environmental, health, and safety policies in all engineering activities within the department.
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project proposals to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the team.
