Role Description The High School Principal is a full-time, on-site role based in Silliguri, responsible for providing academic and operational leadership for the high school section. The Principal oversees curriculum implementation, teaching quality, and student performance, ensuring alignment with school standards and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include supervising and mentoring staff, observing classrooms, managing timetables and assessments, and maintaining a protected, inclusive learning environment. The role involves collaborating with school leadership on strategic planning, engaging with families and the wider community, handling disciplinary matters, and driving initiatives that support student wellbeing and holistic development. The Principal also monitors school data, leads improvement projects, and coordinates with Betamind Education consultants to implement best practices in school management.
Qualifications





Strong background in Educational Administration and Educational Management, with demonstrated ability to oversee school operations and staff.
Proven skills in Educational Leadership and Education, including leading teams, setting academic standards, and fostering an inclusive school culture.
Experience in Curriculum Development, assessment planning, and instructional improvement to support high-quality teaching and learning.
Relevant postgraduate degree in Education or a related field; formal training in school leadership or administration is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, families, and external partners.
