Role Description The OKTA Mentor role at Patch the Skill is a part-time, remote position focused on guiding learners through OKTA-related concepts, configurations, and best practices. In this role, the mentor will design and deliver virtual training sessions, create and refine learning materials, and provide hands-on support with OKTA setup, integration,



and troubleshooting in lab or project environments. The mentor will answer learner questions, review assignments, and offer constructive feedback to help participants build real-world identity and access management skills. The role also involves staying current with OKTA features and updates, collaborating with the training team to improve course content, and helping align training outcomes with industry requirements.
Qualifications
Strong OKTA expertise, including user lifecycle management, SSO configuration, MFA, and integration with common applications.
Experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts and related security best practices.
Ability to design and deliver technical training, including creating clear documentation, labs, and instructional materials.
Effective communication and mentoring skills, with the ability to explain complex topics in a straightforward, learner-friendly manner.
