Smartnode Automations Pvt. Ltd. is a home automation company based in Gujarat, India, selling through an omnichannel model of channel partners, regional sales managers, and experience showrooms across cities including Ahmedabad and Vadodara.

Role Overview
The Inside Sales Team Lead is a hands-on sales role responsible for both personally closing high-intent leads and coaching a team of three inside sales executives who handle inbound leads generated through performance marketing. This is a player-coach position — the person is expected to sell, not just supervise — and reports directly to the Co-Founder.

Key Responsibilities
Personal Sales Ownership
• Personally handles and closes a portfolio of high-intent leads (demo requests, pricing inquiries)
• Sets the working standard for response time, call quality,



and consultative selling that the team follows

Team Coaching & Training
• Runs a daily huddle reviewing prior-day lead misses and same-day priorities
• Audits a sample of recorded calls per executive each week against the qualification script and gives direct, specific feedback
• Leads onboarding and ramp-up training for any current inside sales hire

SLA & Pipeline Management
• Owns the lead response SLA dashboard — tracks adherence daily and identifies where leads are sticking
• Escalates blockers or recurring issues directly to the Co-Founder
• Ensures real-time CRM status updates across the team for every lead

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Shares lead quality feedback by campaign/source with the Performance Marketing and Content teams
• Coordinates with Regional Sales Managers when leads need field follow-up

Hiring & Onboarding Support
• Provides input during interviews when the inside sales team needs to grow
• Builds
