Position: Cinema Manager
Location: TNZ Cinemas, Tezpur, Assam
Department: Operations
Reporting To: Regional/Area Manager

Job Purpose
To manage the overall operations of the cinema, ensuring excellent customer experience, smooth day-to-day functioning, achievement of revenue and profitability targets, and compliance with safety, hygiene, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Cinema Operations
Manage daily cinema operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Ensure smooth functioning of box office, F&B;, auditorium, housekeeping, and other operational areas.
Monitor show schedules, seat availability, ticketing, and customer flow.
Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the cinema premises.
2. Sales & Revenue
Drive ticketing and F&B; sales to achieve revenue targets.
Monitor daily sales, occupancy, average ticket price, and F&B; performance.
Control operational costs and minimize wastage and revenue leakages.
Prepare and review daily/weekly/monthly business reports.
3. Customer Experience
Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction.




Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor cleanliness, ambience, food quality, and overall guest experience.
4. Team Management
Lead, motivate, and manage the cinema team.
Prepare manpower plans and ensure effective staff deployment.
Monitor attendance, grooming, discipline, and performance.
Conduct team briefings, training, and performance reviews.
Ensure adequate staffing during weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
5. Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, fire and safety regulations.
Maintain proper records, licenses, checklists, and operational documentation.
Ensure adherence to food safety, hygiene, and security standards.
Conduct regular safety and operational checks.
6. Inventory & Cost Control
Monitor inventory of F&B; products, consumables, and operational supplies.
Ensure proper stock management and minimize wastage,
