About the Role
Poddar Group of Institutions is looking for a agile, committed and student-focused Computer Science / IT Faculty to join its academic team. The candidate will be responsible for effective classroom and practical teaching, student mentoring, project guidance and participation in academic and institutional activities.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lectures, tutorials and practical/laboratory sessions.
Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments and other academic resources.
Ensure timely completion of the assigned syllabus as per the academic calendar.
Teach core Computer Science/IT subjects such as Programming, Data Structures, DBMS, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Web Technologies, AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, etc.
Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.




Mentor students and provide guidance for projects, internships, certifications and career development.
Encourage students to participate in hackathons, coding competitions, technical events and workshops.
Guide academic/industry-oriented projects and promote practical learning.
Participate in departmental meetings, seminars, workshops, FDPs and institutional activities.
Keep updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Contribute to curriculum development, research and other academic initiatives, wherever applicable.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Master's Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications / Data Science / Artificial Intelligence or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
UGC-NET/SET/Ph.D. will be preferred, wherever applicable.
Candidates with relevant teaching and/or industry experience will be preferred.
Strong technical knowledge and programming skil
