Job Description: An RMHS (Raw Material Handling System) Field Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining industrial material handling equipment (such as conveyors, crushers, and stackers). They ensure the safe, continuous flow of raw materials (like coal and iron ore) required for plant operations. Key Responsibilities

- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy systems such as conveyor belts, stackers, reclaimers, crushers, screens, and dust suppression systems safely.

- Material Flow Monitoring: Oversee the receipt, unloading, storage, and transfer of bulk raw materials to ensure continuous production without bottlenecks.

- Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Conduct daily inspections, explicit blockages, perform basic lubrication (greasing), and report mechanical faults to the shift in-charge to minimize equipment downtime.

- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) guidelines, including wearing proper PPE, executing LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) procedures, and keeping the work area hazard-free.

- Logistics & Record Keeping:



Maintain accurate logs of material volumes handled, equipment operational hours, and spares consumption.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: ITI (Mechanical/Electrical) or Diploma in Engineering.

- Experience: 1 to 5 years of hands-on experience in RMHS or bulk material handling in a steel, cement, mining, or power plant.

- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of mechanical components (idlers, pulleys, gearboxes) and ability to read process flow diagrams.

- Physical & Adaptability: Ability to work in rotating shifts (including nights) and in a demanding, dusty industrial environment.
