Summary
As a Senior Data Architect specializing in Enterprise Data Architecture Principles, you will define and implement enterprise data strategies, architecture standards, governance frameworks, and modern data platform solutions. The role requires extensive expertise in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures that support operational, analytical, and cloud-native applications.
The architect will have strong experience in enterprise data modeling, data integration, data warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse architectures, Data Mesh, metadata management, and cloud data platforms across AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and hybrid environments. The role involves establishing data architecture best practices, driving modernization initiatives, and enabling data-driven business transformation.

Roles & Responsibilities
1. Define and implement enterprise data architecture principles, standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
2. Design scalable, secure, resilient, and high-performance enterprise data architectures aligned with business objectives.
3. Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures for enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
4. Design and implement modern data platforms including Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh architectures.
5. Establish enterprise data governance, metadata management, data lineage, and data quality frameworks.
6. Define enterprise data integration strategies using ETL, ELT, APIs, event-driven architectures, and streaming technologies.
7. Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, data engineers, and engineering teams to define enterprise data strategies.
8. Evaluate and recommend data technologies, cloud services, and architectural patterns based on business and technical requirements.
9. Design data security, privacy, encryption, masking, and access control strategies.
10. Ensure compliance with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and data governance policies.

Lead cloud data migration and modernization initiatives across AWS, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
12. Develop reusable enterprise data architecture patterns, frameworks, and reference architectures.
13. Conduct architecture reviews, technology assessments, and performance optimization activities.
14. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and governance for enterprise data initiatives.
15. Support Agile delivery practices and enterprise digital transformation programs.

Professional & Technical Skills:
1. 6+ years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Management, and Data Strategy.
2. Strong expertise in Enterprise Data Architecture Principles, architectural governance, and data standards.
3. Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures.
4. Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouse, Data Mesh, and Data Fabric architectures.
5. Expertise in data modeling including Entity Relationship (ER) Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and Data Vault methodologies.
6. Experience with data integration patterns including ETL/ELT, API integration, event-driven architecture, and streaming platforms.
7. Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Lineage, Metadata Management, Master Data Management (MDM), and Data Quality frameworks.
8. Experience with cloud data platforms including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
9. Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, and Snowflake.
10. Experience with enterprise messaging and integration technologies such as Kafka, EventBridge, Azure Service Bus, and REST APIs.
11. Expertise in cloud security, encryption, identity management, privacy controls, and regulatory compliance.
12. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud automation.
13. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, data architecture documentation,



and enterprise architecture frameworks.
14. Experience with Agile, Scrum, TOGAF, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
15. Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.

Additional Information:
1. The candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Enterprise Data Architecture, Data Management, and Cloud Data Platforms.
2. This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
3. A minimum of 15 years of full-time education is required.
