About the role
We are looking for an exceptionally sharp, analytical and commercially minded Lead Data Scientist to join our team.
You will work on high-impact projects across product, marketing and growth, helping fast-moving businesses make better decisions through advanced analytics, experimentation and causal inference.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced data scientist who can take an ambiguous business problem, structure it clearly, conduct rigorous analysis and translate the findings into practical recommendations. You should be equally comfortable writing complex SQL, developing analysis in Python and communicating conclusions to senior stakeholders.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked within leading technology companies, high-growth businesses, digital platforms or respected analytics and consulting organisations.




Key responsibilities
Lead complex data science and advanced analytics projects from problem definition through to final recommendation.
Analyse customer behaviour, product adoption, engagement, conversion, retention and churn.
Design, implement and analyse A/B tests and other controlled experiments.
Develop experimental frameworks, including hypotheses, success metrics, sample-size calculations and statistical analysis plans.
Apply causal-inference methods to measure the incremental impact of product and marketing initiatives.
Use techniques such as difference-in-differences, matching, synthetic controls, causal impact and geographical experimentation where appropriate.
Define product KPIs, success metrics and measurement frameworks.
Develop segmentation, propensity, forecasting and machine-learning models.
Build robust analytical datasets and conduct complex analysis using SQL and Python.
