Position Overview

Messe Frankfurt (MF), one of the world’s largest trade show, congress, and event organizers, is seeking an experienced Marketing Specialist to creatively, rethink and invigorate the marketing approach for its Technical & Technology shows.

The Marketing Specialist will join the Atlanta-based team at Messe Frankfurt, Inc. This position is accountable for managing the creation and implementation of the overall marketing plan to ultimately achieve increase qualified visitor attendance goals and brand awareness. Additionally, responsible for uncovering marketing channels and ensuring execution of marketing for live and/or digital events.

The ideal candidate can demonstrate proficiency and ingenuity relevant to B2B trade show marketing and promotion practices. An ability to cultivate strong, positive relationships, work effectively in a team-oriented team environment, and possess superior speaking, writing, and editing skills.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.





Qualifications & Work Experience

Minimum 3 - 5 years of demonstrated experience with management of B2B print, digital, and social marketing campaigns.
Demonstrated copywriting skills, including press releases.
Experience in trade shows or a technical-related industry is a plus.
Demonstrated knowledge of marketing software, marketing intelligence, and automation, including skills related to data collection, analytics, branding, tracking, social and digital media marketing, content distribution, search engine optimization, and email marketing.
Expert knowledge of current marketing trends, multimedia, and social media platforms.
