Company Description The Kanpur Queer Welfare Foundation (KQWF), founded in 2018, is an NGO focused on advancing LGBTQ+ rights and well-being in Kanpur, India. The organization offers support services, educational programs, advocacy, and community-building initiatives to foster a safe and inclusive workplace for queer individuals. KQWF actively challenges discrimination and works to promote acceptance within local communities and institutions. Through its programs, the foundation aims to empower LGBTQ+ people to live with dignity, visibility, and equal opportunities.
Role Description The Creative and Marketing Manager Intern will support the planning and execution of creative campaigns and outreach initiatives that align with KQWF’s mission. This internship role is on-site and based in Kanpur Nagar, requiring close collaboration with the team and community members. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with the development of marketing materials, social media content, and branding assets, as well as contributing to campaign concepts and event promotion.



The intern will help coordinate project timelines, gather content from ongoing programs, and ensure consistent messaging across communication channels. The role also involves basic reporting on campaign performance and actively participating in meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Qualifications

Ability to develop and support Creative Strategy and Creative Direction for campaigns and initiatives.
Foundational knowledge of Marketing and Branding, ideally in social impact or nonprofit contexts.
Basic Project Management skills, including organizing tasks, managing timelines, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is an advantage.
Interest in and sensitivity toward LGBTQ+ issues, with a commitment to equity, inclusion, and community empowerment.
