Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Store Incharge to manage and oversee the inventory, materials, and equipment at our real estate project sites. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of storekeeping practices within the real estate or construction sector, be well-versed in inventory control systems, and capable of managing vendor coordination and stock audits efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the entire store operations at the construction/project site.
Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of materials.
Receive, inspect, and document all incoming materials and supplies.
Coordinate with procurement, project managers, and site engineers for timely availability of materials.
Ensure proper documentation including GRNs, issue slips, stock registers, etc.
Conduct regular stock audits and ensure zero discrepancies.
Implement and maintain inventory management systems/software.
Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) and proper material handling.
Monitor material movement, consumption, and wastage control at site.
Coordinate with vendors/suppliers for timely deliveries and returns.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the storage area.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store and warehouse areas.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate or Diploma in any discipline; a background in Supply Chain or Logistics is an added advantage.
3 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably in the real estate/construction sector.
Hands-on experience with inventory management software (e.g., Tally, ERP systems).
Robust organizational and record-keeping skills.
