About the role
This role will drive business growth across JioStar’s Entertainment portfolio comprising of General Entertainment, Movies, Kids, Youth, International and Star Studio 18 across linear & streaming , operating at the intersection of strategy, monetization, and execution.

The mandate is to:
Solve high-impact business problems across content, distribution, and monetization
Build new revenue streams and scale existing ones
Drive cross-screen thinking (TV + Streaming + CTV) across decision-making
While AI and emerging capabilities are anchored separately today, this role is expected to actively translate these into business impact, with the potential to take on a broader Growth & Innovation mandate over time.
What You Will Own

1. Own Business Strategy with Execution Accountability
Lead high-impact problem statements across the entertainment business
Translate strategy into clear plans, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes
Work directly with business heads to drive implementation and closure
Expectation: You own outcomes, not just recommendations

Build and Scale Monetization
Own growth across core revenue streams (Ads + Subscriptions), working with business teams to unlock incremental value
Build and scale new revenue engines beyond ads/subscriptions (e.g., consumer monetization, partnerships, new business models)
Expectation: Deliver material revenue impact across both existing and new streams

3. Drive Cross-Screen Business Thinking
Help unify decision-making across linear TV, streaming, and CTV
Influence content and investment decisions through integrated performance frameworks

Expectation: You think in terms of consumer behavior, not platforms

4. Lead Strategic Initiatives & Whitespaces
Identify and build new opportunities across:
Content formats (especially scalable, high-frequency formats like non-fiction)
Partnerships and ecosystem plays
Recent business models
Support development and scaling of high-potential IPs and formats
